MOVIE CLIP REVIEW

Image
LA LA LAND : MOVIE CLIP REVIEW: OPENING SCENE The opening scene of La La Land instantly pulls you into its dreamy, colorful world. It starts on a crowded Los Angeles freeway where everyone’s stuck in traffic phones out, windows down, heat blazing. Then, out of nowhere, one driver hops out, and suddenly the entire highway turns into a massive musical stage. What’s so brilliant about this scene is how it transforms something super ordinary such as a traffic jam into something magical. The song “Another Day of Sun” isn’t just catchy it sets the tone for the whole film. It’s about chasing dreams, taking risks, and holding on to hope even when life feels stuck.the moment the crowd gathers near the truck and they are happy are cheering each other up shows us that we take life so seriously sometimes The camera work is insane too. It moves smoothly through all the chaos, giving the feeling that LA itself is alive and dancing. The bright costumes, sunshine, and diverse dancers all scream...

The History and Evolution of Films

The Glow-Up of Film : From Silent Reels to Netflix Feels Okay, let’s be real  movies have had one insane glow-up. What started as silent black-and-white clips has turned into high-def, CGI-filled blockbusters that we can stream anytime, anywhere. The OG Era Way back in the 1890s, the Lumière brothers filmed random stuff like people leaving a factory and a train pulling into a station  and audiences lost their minds. Like, people actually thought the train was coming straight at them. Early cinema was wild. Silent but Legendary Before movies had sound, it was all about expression and creativity. Enter Charlie Chaplin, the king of silent comedy, doing his thing in The Kid and Modern Times. No dialogue, no fancy effects just pure storytelling and emotion. Props to that level of talent. And not just me we all still know this silent king Charlie till this day and now there and many cartoons related him . When Movies Learned to Talk (and Got a Makeover) Then came The Jazz Sin...

Course introduction

AS Level Media Studies Introduction Media Studies is a subject that explores how media shapes the world around us from the news we read to the films, advertisements, and social media we interact with every day. At AS Level, this course encourages us to think critically about how media products are created, how they communicate meaning, and how audiences interpret them. We learn to analyse media language, representation, industry, and audience, while also developing practical skills in media production. I chose Media Studies because I’ve always been fascinated by how powerful media can be in influencing opinions, trends, and even cultural values. It allows me to look beyond what’s on the screen and understand the decisions, techniques, and messages behind it. I also decided to combine Media with Computer Science because I believe the two subjects complement each other perfectly. The creative side of media blends well with the technical and problem-solving asp...
